Hunting

The most common activity for a wild animal is using all it's senses and go hunting!

So turn on your schnozzle and concentrate.

A good hunt will bring you lots of loot!

It might sound complicated at first but follow the instructions down here and you will be a hardcore hunter in no time!

1. The Preparation

If you decide to go for a hunt you need to pick:

1. A Territory
(Where do you want to hunt?)

It should be accessible for your Saliko!

2. The Prey
(What do you want to hunt?)

The prey should be available in the territory you're hunting in and you should have the required achievements for risky and hardcore hunts if you need them!

3. Your Strategy
(How to do you want to hunt?)

Do you want to use bait (WIP) or hunt it down the classic way?
Also, is it a solo hunt or a pack hunt?

2. Hunting Entry and Requirements

You can hunt with digital/traditional pictures or with literature.

Entries can be a collab or a commission, but only the owner of the Saliko can request the roll for that certain character! Every participating Saliko has their own roll and rewards.

Each Entry has to Feature:
1. The Saliko(s) on the hunt
2. The territory the hunt takes place in
3. The prey they hunt for / the bait they use (wip)

Additional Information:

One hunting entry can count for up to 4 Salikos.

1-2 Salikos is considered a solo hunt

3-4 is a pack hunt (as tribe you are able to earn tribe-points too)

Requirements:
a) Fullbody, colored, shaded, background (add some detail, the territory has to be clear)

OR
b) Fullbody, visible markings, background (add some detail, the territory has to be clear),

at least 4 different fullbody-panels

OR

Encounters

Depending on the level of the territory you hunt in, there may be other predators or aggressive creatures that will attack if you get too close.

Solo hunts can only be attacked by 1 additional creature, pack hunts may get attacked by 2.

In case of an encounter your loot will still be rolled from the original hunt unless your Saliko went K.O or fled, so keep an eye on your health.
If you kill the attacking creature you will get additional loot on top.

You can find more about Encounter-Battles here.

Loot, Rewards and Other Boni

a) Your loot depends on the type of prey you hunt. If your Saliko is successful, there is a chance of dropping 1-3 items (skills/items/companions may influence).

b) Additionally, hunting has a small chance of attracting companions.

c) Each Saliko partaking in the hunt will gain an additional +2 EP

Health

Easy prey or not, no creature dies without fighting, so with every hunt your Saliko will lose some health.

Because of that, mind your Salikos health before you go hunting or they may be too weak to finish the hunt and not be able to participate in any other activities until they're healed!
