EP and Scoring Guide
Rules for Scoring:
Please score honestly.
There is no difference between digital or traditional art and you may also submit photos
of physical crafts and similar.
You can upload your image/literature to your DeviantArt gallery or any other website - but DeviantArt would be the best since we use it for tracking.
For background to count in artworks there should be several elements such as foreground, background, plants, clouds etc. Only coloring the ground green and the sky blue won't be enough!
Some effort needs to be seen, though the background does not need to be shaded to count by itself. If a prompt requires both shading AND background though, the background has to be shades as well as the characters.

Please add all important information to the description of your submission.

This makes it easier for admins to count EPs and make sure nothing gets overlooked.
You'll find some examples what this could look like at the bottom of the page.

Headshots:
(50% or less of Saliko)

Simplistic art:
Artworks in this category will only be able to count for half of their usual EP value.
> Pixelart smaller than 200x200px
> Chibi art with unnatural anatomy or very simple paws and faces
> Reused lineart

Other than that it is mostly up to you if you count your pictures as simplistic, however if you put half the effort in a pic than usual it might get counted as simplistic and get half the EP. as well.
Literature
100 Words = 1EP
You are allowed to write stories in your native language as we trust you guys enough to believe that you actually wrote about the given prompt.
However, please give a short summary in English with the key elements of the story in the description so we can see that you understood the task.
Secondary characters get half of the full EPs if they're present and interact with the main characters for a certain amount of time (around half the text)

Should your character appear even less than that, please add a custom wordcount them.
Additional Salikos:
You can only give the "additional Saliko bonus" when the mentioned characters actually have an interaction with each other in your text.
This requires a minimum of 200 Words.
You may add more Saliko EP boni with every 100 Words after the initial 200, with a maximum of 7.
Example: when you write a text with 400 Words, your highest possible "additional Saliko" bonus is 3!

Effort Boni:
You also get the chance to give yourself boni for art you put more effort into than usual or which you're especially proud of. You can also add that for art made by others, be it commissions or gifts!

This bonus is capped out at 7EP and may include things like:
Great atmosphere, strong expression, dynamic pose, cute scene and similar
Admins may also give effort boni when they like something
How to score:
+1-3 EP would be for something simple you think deserve a little bonus
+4-6 EP could be for something you put way more time/effort into than usual and you think you deserve a bigger bonus for that
+7 EP is for something you are extremely proud of - you put everything you know into it, it has to be clearly distinguishable from your usual art
Inherited EP

Sometimes your Salikos can start out with an EP boost from their parents!
It will be determined when the breeding gets rolled and depends on the parents ranks.
(the higher the rank the higher the boost!)

To claim the inherited EP you need to add a small comment to your tracker with a link to your breeding as
proof, similar to when you add a normal art or literature to the tracker.

You're not required to add it though if you'd prefer to raise their EP on your own!
Adding other ARPG species:
You can use your Saliko just like a normal OC, letting them fly through space or turn them into an anthro, give them magical powers and so on.
The only restriction is that we won't include those pics in the Saliko-Tribe gallery, because this group is made for ARPG in Ibea and needs to fit this world.
BUT: For things like achievements, quests, events, etc the Saliko will have to stay in Ibea
(means no humans, no handlers, no plastic bag on your head, you get what we mean)
This means that no other ARPG species may be included, as Ibea cannot be visited.
You still can count the EP normally though, as long as the Saliko keeps its regular, feral appearance.
Ranks
With more EPs your Saliko will rise through the ranks and you can earn the Rank-Trophies to show them in your Tracker!
Also, with higher ranks you can unlock a lot of great stuff basically.
