Battle Types

In Field of Kydos fights there are 3 different battle types

To take part in one of those you need fulfill certain requirements.
Check the individual battle types below for more Information
Battle Permission

Before you can take part in Fights your Saliko needs to get their Battle Permission.

Challenge a Saliko

Challenging a Saliko works like the Slot approval in breedings

You announce a challenge with the necessary information and your opponent has to request the fight!

Fighting Mechanics
Important for your fights are your stats! So if you not familiar with them yet we suggest to check the their information page

Health Points (HP)
The max HP of your Saliko depends on it's stamina stat.
All Salikos start with a stamina value of 30 (except albinos), so their max HP is 300.
You can gain more stamina with special training (WIP)
When your Saliko's Health hits 0 it can no longer participate in arena battles, games and hunts.
You can find the current HP of your Saliko here
There are several ways to gain back HP, for example giving your Saliko Fresh Meat or Fruits to eat
(you can find each item's effect in it's description)

First Attack
Whether your Saliko attacks first depends on your speed!
When your speed stat is twice as high as your opponents you get a 15% chance to attack twice!

Hit Chance
Each Saliko starts with a basic chance of 30% to hit the opponent
As soon as your dexterity and speed checksum is higher than 30 these stats will represent your hit chance instead

for example:
Dex = 40 and Spd = 30 your Hit Chance is 35%
(40 + 30 = 70; 70 / 2 = 35)
This chance can get higher or lower depending on mutations, items, companions and similar

DpA (Damage per Attack)
Your DpA depends on your strength and cunning checksum!
The damage may get higher or lower depending on mutations, items, companions and similar

Critical Hit
Your chance to do a critical hit is a bit more tricky to calculate!
It depends on your own cunning stats and your opponents dexterity.
A critical hit adds 1/4 of your DpA to the normal attack
